Sunday Musical celebrates Women’s History Month

In honor of Women’s History Month, Seminole Community Library will host a special Sunday Musicale featuring roots musician Paula Bradley on Sunday, March 22, from 3-4 p.m. This free performance will celebrate the pioneering women of early country music whose contributions helped shape America’s rich musical heritage.

Bradley will bring to life the stories and songs of trailblazing female artists, from country music’s rural beginnings to its rise as a national show business phenomenon. This educational afternoon will highlight voices too often left out of the spotlight.

Bradley has toured with Uncle Earl and Bruce Molsky, recorded as part of the acoustic trio Jawbone, and was a founding member of Girl Howdy and Moonshine Holler. She currently leads her own vintage country ensemble, Miss Paula & The Twangbusters, and serves as a respected traditional music instructor at renowned camps including Swannanoa Gathering and Ashokan.

The performance is free and open to the public. Seating is first come, first served.
