TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WCTV) – A man wanted for murder in Okaloosa County was arrested in Tallahassee Wednesday evening, according to the Okaloosa County Sheriff’s Office.
Kavari McQueen, 20, was taken into custody at an apartment complex on Lake Avenue and is facing an open count of murder, according to law enforcement.

The shooting McQueen was arrested in connection with unfolded in Crestview on Wednesday.
“Investigators say McQueen and the victim were in a vehicle together when they became involved in an altercation that led to gunshots shortly before 6 a.m.,” per OCSO.
Eventually, a passing driver saw the victim on the road. They were later pronounced dead from multiple gunshot wounds, according to deputies.
McQueen is currently being held at the Leon County Jail.
