It’s been a wonderful season for snow-related schadenfreude here in Florida, where even with the plummeting temps and iguanas, we use our shovels for sandcastles and our salt for margaritas.

But recently, I discovered some snow I love shoveling: the snow onion topping at 92 Chicken, where crispy Korean-style wings in whatever flavor you choose, can be smothered in a mountain of cool, creamy-cripsy goodness, unlike anything I’d ever experienced. People love it so much that they sell it by the container. This stuff would taste good on anything, but on top of searing-hot, fresh-fried wings delivered straight to your table? It’s Foodiesworthy for sure.

In Thornton Park, crispy naked wings are best enjoyed with grill marks, snappy skin and a generous flight of sauces. And you don’t even need a furry bestie to enjoy Barkhaven’s amazing flaps and drums in flavors fiery, sweet and unique. But if you ask me, everything’s better when a dog is your copilot.
