A man was arrested after drugs were found in a stolen car in the parking lot of a Cape Coral Walmart on Wednesday.>>Video above: Headlines for March 6, 2026According to the Lee County Sheriff’s Office arrest report, deputies were notified of a large amount of suspected narcotics in a recovered stolen vehicle in the parking lot of the Walmart on Del Prado Boulevard South around 6:30 p.m.Cape Coral police officers responded to the parking lot and located the vehicle. Officers located three people inside the Walmart who matched the description seen on surveillance video as the ones seen leaving the vehicle and detained them.Deputies then searched the car and found a black bag under the driver’s seat.
