Cape Coral Pride Weekend is back, and this year, it’s bigger, brighter and in a brand‑new location.The celebration brings together live entertainment, food, vendors, and a full day of events designed to highlight love, inclusion and community across Southwest Florida.Jason Drew was “Gulfcoasting” ahead of the festivities, catching up with Cape Coral Pride President Erin Atwood, Board Member Brittany Hull and Board Secretary Melissa Moore as final preparations got underway. They shared how much work has gone into creating a safe, welcoming space for everyone attending this year’s Pride.Gates open at noon Saturday, with a full lineup of performers throughout the day, including headliner Crystal Waters, known for her iconic hits and high‑energy shows. The Pride Parade steps off at 4 p.m., led by this year’s grand marshal — our very own Gulf Coast News anchor Jen Stacy.Organizers say guests can expect plenty of food trucks, local vendors, games and activities, along with both indoor and outdoor spaces to enjoy the celebration.
