In an update on Friday, Florida officials said the teen was found safe.

PASCO COUNTY, Fla. — UPDATE: The Florida Missing Child Alert has been canceled. Officials say the teen was found safe. 

A Florida Missing Child Alert has been issued for a 15-year-old boy out of Pasco County.

According to the Florida Department of Law Enforcement (FDLE), the boy was last seen around 12:40 p.m. Friday in the area of Bartolo Drive in Land O’ Lakes. He was reportedly last seen wearing a white hoodie with blue lettering on the sleeves, a green polo, dark pants and black shoes.

He is described to be 5-foot-9 with brown hair and hazel eyes. Officials say he may be carrying a grey Jordan backpack and may be riding a black mountain bike.
