TAMPA, Fla. (WFLA) — A Hillsborough County K-9 caught a Tampa man who stole items from multiple vehicles in Tampa on Feb. 27, according to the Hillsborough County Sheriff’s Office.

HCSO posted a video on Facebook on Friday, showing the aviation unit and deputies as they responded to a prowler call.

The aviation section said it saw Anthony Holmes, 56, entering multiple vehicle on the 4400 block of Ranchwood Lane just before 1 a.m.

Deputies located him and gave several commands, warning that a K-9 would be deployed. According to footage of the incident, Holmes fled on foot.

A K-9 chased and caught Holmes as he fled, and deputies arrested him on multiple felony charges, the sheriff’s office said.

HCSO said Holmes was charged with three counts of armed burglary of a conveyance, four counts of unlawful possession of a stolen credit or debit card and grand theft firearm.
