A Southwest Airlines flight from Nashville to Fort Lauderdale was forced to divert to Atlanta on Friday evening after a possible security concern on board.

Flight 2094 landed safely at Hartsfield‑Jackson Atlanta International Airport, where law enforcement boarded the aircraft and removed a passenger. Video circulating on social media shows tense moments inside the cabin as passengers were instructed to put their heads down and raise their hands while armed officers entered the plane.

“We appreciate the professionalism of our Flight Crew and sincerely apologize to our Customers for the significant delay,” a Southwest spokesperson said in a statement to the Miami Herald.

Atlanta police removed the customer from the aircraft, but WANF in Atlanta reports that FBI Atlanta found no credible threat and no charges were filed. It is unclear what caused the security concerns.

Passengers boarded another aircraft operating under the same flight number and continued on to Fort Lauderdale, arriving just before 3:30 a.m. Saturday, according to Southwest.
