JACKSONVILLE, N.C. (WITN) – A GoFundMe page has been set up to support the children of a woman killed in a Jacksonville shooting Saturday night.
According to the GoFundMe page, 43-year-old Staci Davis lost her life in a tragic act of gun violence.
Michael Davis, Davis’ husband, has been charged with his wife’s murder by Jacksonville police.
The page says her two children, Ethan and Kasyn, are now facing life without what organizers called “the rock of their family.”
“Staci was the best mom, friend, daughter, and advocate for kids, truly the best person you could know. Her heart was the glue that held so many lives together, and our community will never be the same without her.”
According to the GoFundMe page, this fundraiser is set up to help with immediate expenses, to give Staci the funeral she deserves, and to support Ethan and Kasyn through the difficult times ahead.
Organizers are asking for donations and to help honor Staci’s memory.
