Victim flown to hospital after shooting in Miami Springs; 1 detained – NBC 6 South Florida

One person had to be airlifted to the hospital after they were shot on Sunday night in Miami Springs, authorities said.

The victim was shot in the area of 500 block and Esplanade Drive.

They were flown to Ryder Trauma Center and are expected to survive, police said.

One person was detained for questioning.

Police said the shooting was an isolated incident and that “there is no danger to the surrounding area or the public.”
