PINELLAS COUNTY, Fla. — A man accused of stealing more than $2 million dollars from the Pinellas County business where he served as CFO was arraigned in court on Tuesday, where a judge entered his plea of not guilty as he doesn’t have an attorney yet.
10 Investigates was first to report in February that Jeffery Crane, 47, was charged with money laundering, scheming to defraud and criminal use of personal ID info charges.
Crane had been working for Largo-based Bluewater Media when CEO Andy Latimer said he stole from investment and rolling accounts that helped fund employee bonuses.
Court records say Crane used company funds for “high-end restaurants, hotels, flights, limousine services and adult entertainment establishments.”
His next court date was set for Monday, April 6.
This is a developing story. More information will be provided as it becomes available.
