NEW PORT RICHEY, Fla. — Pasco County Sheriff Chris Nocco is set to provide details on a deputy-involved shooting that happened Monday afternoon.

The Pasco Sheriff’s Office says this happened in the area of Davista Avenue and Sawtell Street in New Port Richey.

Officials say there is no public safety threat and that this appears to be an isolated incident.

Sheriff Nocco is set to speak at 4 p.m.
