A person is in custody after a Monday evening shooting at a student apartment complex in northwest Tallahassee.

When the shots rang out, police were in the area and descended on the Renew Tallahassee at 1505 West Tharpe Street at about 10:45 p.m. The apartment complex bills itself as “an elite student living community” for Florida State University, Florida A&M and Tallahassee State College.

Police took a person in custody after allegedly shooting at another person. There were no injuries, according a Tallahassee Police Department Watch Commander.

Photos of the scene sent to the Democrat show what appear to be multiple people being taken into custody.

There were no other details available including the identity of the arrested or the circumstances of the shooting.

Police remain on the scene and the case remains under investigation.
