Police say eastbound Martin Luther King Avenue is closed.

BRADENTON, Fla. — The Bradenton Police Department is on the scene of a shooting that involved an officer on Tuesday morning.

It happened near 9th Avenue (Martin Luther King Avenue) near 4th Street W. Police say eastbound Martin Luther King Avenue is closed.

It’s not clear what led up to the shooting or how many people were involved. Bradenton police are set to give more details to 10 Tampa Bay News crews on the way to the scene.
