Kennedy Space Center Visitor Complex has rolled out two limited-time ticket offers for the attraction.
Purchases for these deals must be made by May 24, although they are valid for visits through Dec. 13.
Its Florida Four-Pack offer, available to Florida residents, includes four daily-admission tickets for $167. A one-day admission is normally $77 ($67 for ages 3-11). Proof of residence is required for purchases. Amongst the fine print: This offer is not valid on active rocket-launch dates, and it cannot be used with other discounts, events or launch packages. There is a limit of three packages per transaction for a total of 12 tickets.
In addition, the visitor center has the Adult at Kids Rate offer, in which grown-ups visit at the child-ticket rate of $67, a $10 discount.
The Brevard County attraction lineup recently expanded with “Fraggle Rock: A Spacy-Adventure” show, which includes full-body costumed versions of Gobo, Red and Uncle Traveling Matt plus puppet versions of the Doozers fabricated by Jim Henson’s Creature Shop. Last summer, the visitor center’s bus tour added a stop at the Gantry at LC-39, attractions that explore NASA’s relationship between nature and technology.
Other standing visitor center experiences include Space Shuttle Atlantis and related displays, the Shuttle Launch Experience attraction, Rocket Garden, Apollo/Saturn V Center, Astronaut Training Experience, U.S. Astronaut Hall of Fame, an array of tours and more.
