TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WCTV) – Customers with Envision Credit Union continue to face frustrations as their accounts are merged into Addition Financial Credit Union.
Several customers contacted WCTV last week saying they hadn’t received their new debit cards and couldn’t access their money. Others say they’re struggling to get help in person or on the phone.
Addition Financial Credit Union issued a statement Monday evening addressing the recent conversion of banking systems from Envision Credit Union
Monday afternoon, as the Leon County School Board was reviewing partnership agreements between Addition and the district, the director of community development for Addition Financial, Richard J. Barbari, addressed recent frustrations.
“We’re seeing more and more members come now and have those situations resolved. I know for my team, they’ve stepped up, the entire credit union, even outside of just our branch employees, our back office employees, showing up to branches to make sure we can help those members, and their voices have been heard, and we’re taking the matter extremely seriously,” Barbari said. “There’s going to be a lot more resources going forward, as we’ve said before, from this merger that’s going to support not only Leon County Schools, but the community.”
