Another day, another Miamian competing on a reality dating series.
A new Netflix show that throws age completely out the window premieres this week. Age of Attraction, a nine-episode spin-off of the hit series Love Is Blind, follows 40 singles, ages 22 to 60, as they find out whether love really is ageless. Former Bachelor Nick Viall and his wife, Natalie Joy Viall — who have a 20-year age gap between them — host the series. The first five episodes will air on Wednesday, March 11, followed by the next three episodes on March 18, and the final episode on March 25.
Among the 40 contestants are three men from the 305 looking for love. Meet Chris, the self-proclaimed millionaire mental health speaker; John, Miami’s version of Prince Harry; and William, a longevity expert and biohacker.
Chris Dahlan
Dahlan is a public speaker and business owner who travels the country speaking with kids about mental health, according to a Netflix cast announcement. The self-proclaimed millionaire is fluent in Arabic and Spanish. A review of his Instagram account shows he is an avid gym-goer who loves pumping iron. “Chris is ready to sweep his future partner off their feet,” reads Netflix’s statement, “and preferably into his very fast car.”
John Merrill
According to his bio, Merrill is a born-and-bred Miami boy, but he likes to think he has small-town charm thanks to his Midwestern parents. Merrill, who claims to be Prince Harry’s doppelgänger, works in software sales and models for his clothing brand, Fictional Affluence.
“He’s looking for a more mature woman who can match his level of ambition,” his bio reads.
William Bosch
If you asked ChatGPT to describe a typical Miami man, it might give you a description similar to Bosch’s bio. He is a “major health and wellness enthusiast” who is into biohacking. According to his Instagram @iconiclife, he is “The No-BS Longevity Expert” and provides “science-backed protocols to reverse your biological age.” He does note, however, that his favorite food is pizza, not green juice.
His bio says the longevity entrepreneur is looking for a partner with a “zest for life who seeks new experiences that push the boundaries of what’s possible.”
