As free agency unfolds, we will be breaking down every move that the Jacksonville Jaguars make.
On March 9th, the NFL’s legal tampering period opens. This window allows teams to negotiate with outside free agents. Then, on March 11th at 4:00 PM ET, any agreed-upon deals become official.
However, the Jaguars have already begun addressing their roster and salary cap situation.
Follow along over the next few days as we break down each Jaguars’ free agency move.
Jaguars re-sign Montaric Brown (3/9)
Before free agency, the Jaguars agreed to a new deal with Brown for three years and $33 million. With Brown expected to have a competitive free agent market, getting a deal done beforehand was vital. With Brown back in the mix, the Jaguars have solidified their starting cornerback unit for 2026.

Jaguars re-sign TE Quintin Morris (3/4)
Morris emerged as TE2 during the second half of last season, filling a blocking-first role. He was also a core special teams contributor. This is reportedly a one-year deal worth $3 million.
Jaguars re-sign CB Keith Taylor (2/20)
Taylor was signed late last season after Lewis was placed on IR. Taylor was a fifth-round draft pick in 2021 by the Carolina Panthers. Over his career, Taylor has appeared in 47 games and made five starts. He most recently played with Atlanta.
Over his career, he has totaled 77 tackles, allowed a completion rate of 74% on 84 targets at 14.1 yards per catch with four pass breakups. Taylor has played 529 special teams snaps as well.
Jaguars re-sign IDL Matt Dickerson (2/16)
Dickerson was on the Jaguars’ practice squad initially, but his role expanded during the second half of the season, with him emerging as a regular member of the defensive tackle rotation.
Jaguars re-sign RB DeeJay Dallas (2/16)
Dallas was signed by the Jaguars late in the season to provide running back depth when Bhayshul Tuten was sidelined. He appeared in one game on offense, carrying the ball twice for 21 yards. Dallas also handled kick return duties in Tuten’s brief absence.
