LEE COUNTY, Fla.–Lee County Parks & Recreation is hosting a series of egg hunts for children in the lead-up to Easter on April 5.

These events offer a variety of activities tailored for different age groups and abilities.

The Egg-ceptional Egg Hunt kicks off on March 21 at Wa-Ke Hatchee Recreation Center in Fort Myers. The event begins with a sensory-friendly hour at 9:30 a.m., featuring low lighting, reduced sound, and beeping eggs for children with visual impairments. Age-divided egg hunts will follow, and children can meet the Easter Bunny.

On March 28, the Pine Island Golden Egg Hunt will take place at Phillips Park in Bokeelia. Sponsored by the Bobby Holloway Foundation, this free event is for children ages 11-17 and features candy bags and golden eggs with special prizes.

Also on March 28, Veterans Park in Lehigh Acres will host the Ultimate Egg Hunt for children 12 and under.The event includes a magic show, DJ, and bounce house.

The Estero EGGStravaganza on April 4 at Estero Park will feature an adaptive egg hunt starting at 10 a.m.
