Boca Raton, FL — March 11, 2026 — This March, the Museum of Discovery and Science (MODS) invites families to explore interactive exhibitions, immersive IMAX® experiences and hands-on learning opportunities throughout spring break season. From new documentary releases and traveling exhibits to sustainability initiatives and STEAM programs, MODS offers exciting opportunities for guests of all ages to learn, play and discover together.

Traveling Exhibit Spotlight: HOCKEY: Faster Than Ever
Now Open – May 3, 2026

HOCKEY: Faster Than Ever invites guests to explore the science behind hockey through interactive challenges focused on reaction time, strength and technology. Guests can discover how physics, engineering and innovation shape the sport, from equipment design to player performance. Presented by Joe DiMaggio Children’s Hospital, with additional support from  Finally, Florida Panthers Foundation, Florida Prepaid College Savings Plans and the Shannon and Johnathan Robertson Charitable Fund. Traveling Exhibit Spotlight: Game On! Adventure in Every Move

Game On! Adventure in Every Move invites guests to jump into life-sized interactive games that explore the fun of motion, balance and teamwork through hands-on play. Families can race through oversized challenges, test coordination and problem-solving skills and experience how movement, physics and strategy come together in dynamic, full-body gameplay. Designed for all ages, the exhibit blends creativity, collaboration and active learning to transform play into an engaging experience. Included with Museum admission. Power Play Weekends

Families can explore the science of movement and performance during Power Play Weekends at MODS. Makerspace Workshop: Pepper’s Ghost
March 14 • 4 p.m. – 6 p.m.

Discover the science behind a classic stage illusion in this hands-on Makerspace workshop. Participants will build their own Pepper’s Ghost box while exploring light, reflection and visual perception to make images appear out of nowhere. Camp STEAMology: Camp Aviation Academy: Air to Orbit
March 16–20 • 9 a.m. – 3:30 p.m.

Campers in kindergarten through fourth grade will take flight during spring break with hands-on engineering challenges, flight-inspired experiments and creative builds that explore the science of lift, thrust and propulsion.
