Boca Raton, FL — March 11, 2026 — This March, the Museum of Discovery and Science (MODS) invites families to explore interactive exhibitions, immersive IMAX® experiences and hands-on learning opportunities throughout spring break season. From new documentary releases and traveling exhibits to sustainability initiatives and STEAM programs, MODS offers exciting opportunities for guests of all ages to learn, play and discover together.

Traveling Exhibit Spotlight: HOCKEY: Faster Than Ever

HOCKEY: Faster Than Ever invites guests to explore the science behind hockey through interactive challenges focused on reaction time, strength and technology. Guests can discover how physics, engineering and innovation shape the sport, from equipment design to player performance. Presented by Joe DiMaggio Children’s Hospital, with additional support from Finally, Florida Panthers Foundation, Florida Prepaid College Savings Plans and the Shannon and Johnathan Robertson Charitable Fund. Game On! Adventure in Every Move invites guests to jump into life-sized interactive games that explore the fun of motion, balance and teamwork through hands-on play. Families can race through oversized challenges, test coordination and problem-solving skills and experience how movement, physics and strategy come together in dynamic, full-body gameplay. Discover the science behind a classic stage illusion in this hands-on Makerspace workshop. Participants will build their own Pepper’s Ghost box while exploring light, reflection and visual perception to make images appear out of nowhere.
