Construction continues to progress on Hamilton House, a 38-story residential tower rising at 640 NE 34th Street in Miami’s Edgewater neighborhood. The waterfront development is being built by Americaribe-Grycon for developer Aimco, with architecture by Stantec, and is planned to stand 497 feet tall while yielding 114 residential units overlooking Biscayne Bay.
Recent aerial photographs show the reinforced concrete superstructure essentially topped out, with crews now concentrating operations around the roof and mechanical bulkhead levels. Formwork, scaffolding, and dense rebar assemblies remain visible across the building’s crown, indicating that structural work for the final mechanical tiers is in its concluding stages. Two prominent tower cranes remain anchored to the structure’s western elevation to support the remaining concrete pours and material hoisting as the project nears the end of its vertical ascent.

The installation of the building envelope has advanced steadily across the residential floor plates. Floor-to-ceiling glazing and window wall systems are now observed across a substantial portion of the lower and mid-rise levels. Meanwhile, the upper residential floors remain shrouded in black safety netting and green debris screens as exterior work continues to track upward behind the concrete team. The regular grid of recessed balconies and the precise fenestration of the tower’s elevations are becoming increasingly defined as the curtain wall installation progresses toward the summit.

At the base of the tower, the multi-story podium structure facing Biscayne Bay is also nearing structural completion. The concrete frame of the waterfront-facing base, which is designated to host a 7,000-square-foot signature restaurant, is now largely defined, with large-span column bays and slab plates visible from above. Construction staging areas and heavy machinery remain active along the eastern edge of the site, adjacent to the bayfront.

Hamilton House is being developed on a strategic assemblage of parcels previously gathered by Aimco, representing a centerpiece of the firm’s broader footprint in the Edgewater corridor. The tower now rises prominently directly across from The Hamilton, the 276-unit landmark community at 555 NE 34th Street that underwent a $100-million renovation prior to its recent transition in ownership.

With the superstructure reaching its full architectural height, work will continue to shift toward the completion of the mechanical crown, the full enclosure of the glass facade, and the commencement of high-end interior build-outs. Hamilton House is currently on track for completion in the third quarter of 2027.
