MONROE COUNTY, Ga. (WGXA) — A man wanted out of Florida for homicide was caught by deputies in Monroe County.

According to the Monroe County Sheriff’s Office (MCSO), the Marion County, Fla. Sheriff’s Office called MCSO early Wednesday morning to be on the lookout for Roemal Charles, a homicide suspect believed to be traveling northbound along I-75 through Monroe County.
MCSO said Charles was being tracked through a rental car he was suspected of driving at the time. Deputies then found the car on I-75 North and arrested Charles after a traffic stop.
Charles is being held in Monroe County, awaiting extradition back to Florida.
