Tampa’s Drew Marc Gallery has made a name for itself as one of the region’s finest art hubs, and its latest exhibition could not be timed any more perfectly. In Full Bloom opens on March 13, showcasing the legendary resin art pioneer Andrea Dasha Reich and the vibrant abstract paintings of Tampa’s own Lynn Rattray, just in time for spring.
The must-see exhibition will be a showcase of contemporary floral art, presenting two distinct interpretations of floral energy side by side. The exhibition opens with a special two-day reception on March 13 and March 14 at Drew Marc Gallery (2409 S MacDill Ave.), celebrating color, texture, and the expressive beauty of contemporary floral abstraction. Guests can RSVP here. There will also be a special artist talk on March 27 from 6-9 pm, when Reich and Rattray will discuss their artistic processes and the evolution of their work.
The exhibition is expected to be a hit among collectors, designers, and art enthusiasts, backed by the star power that brought it together. In Full Bloom unites two artists whose practices explore nature, movement, and emotional resonance through distinct and highly recognizable techniques.

Works by Andrea Dasha Reich
Reich, who is now based in Sarasota, is widely recognized for pioneering the use of resin as a painting medium in New York City in the early 1990s. At a time when resin was rarely used within contemporary fine art, Reich began developing a groundbreaking process that fused pigment and resin into luminous, layered compositions. Resin has become a widely adopted material in contemporary art, yet Reich remains one of the earliest and most influential artists to explore its potential at a monumental scale.
Now, Reich continues to push the boundaries of the medium through her distinctive large-scale works. Her paintings are known for their depth, translucency, and radiant color fields that shift with light and movement. Her work is held in numerous private collections and is celebrated for its bold presence and innovative materiality.

Works by Lynn Rattray
Rattray’s dreamlike floral abstractions are the perfect complement to Reich’s dynamic resin works. Working from her studio at Kress Contemporary in Tampa, Rattray creates atmospheric compositions that blend expressive brushwork with layered color to evoke blossoms, gardens, and organic forms.
Her abstract florals capture a sense of movement and softness that invites viewers into a contemplative and motional space. Rattray’s work resonates beautifully with Tampa’s coastal light and contemporary interiors, making her paintings increasingly sought after by collectors and interior designers throughout the region.
Together, Reich and Rattray bring a floral spring to life on the canvas, one through luminous resin surfaces that shimmer with depth and color, and the other through painterly abstraction that suggests blooming landscapes and dreamlike gardens. In Full Bloom celebrates the arrival of spring while highlighting the powerful dialogue between material experimentation and expressive painting.
The opening receptions for In Full Bloom take place on Friday, March 13, from 6-9 pm, and this Saturday, March 14, from 1-5 pm, and guests can RSVP here. Learn more at drewmarcgallery.com, or contact the gallery directly at 813-294-3638.
