The Sanctuary Golf Club Foundation awarded a $250,000 grant to Community Housing & Resources (CHR). The funds will support CHR’s Harkey House at Riverview, which broke ground on Sept. 4 on Sanibel. The foundation reported that the grant reflects its strong commitment to expanding attainable housing opportunities and ensuring the island is a place where those who work can also call it home.
