New sheriff’s office video shows a woman meeting the Florida officer she’s accused of impersonating in an alleged $79,000 fraud scheme.

The Volusia County Sheriff’s Office released the video last week that shows 28-year-old D-Zyre Youngblood, of Atlanta, after her arrest on charges of grand theft and organized scheme to defraud.

Officials said Youngblood was part of a fraud ring that calls people posing as law enforcement, threatening them with jail if they don’t pay thousands.

The ring is run by inmates in the Georgia prison system who get help from the outside, officials said.

The sheriff’s office tracked Youngblood down through Bitcoin wallet transfers after a Volusia County woman who thought she’d been contacted by a “Capt. Dietrich” lost $79,000, the sheriff’s office said.

“It was nice to introduce D’Zyre to the real Capt. Dietrich after we brought her down here on charges of grand theft and organized scheme to defraud,” the sheriff’s office wrote in a social media post with the video.
