TAMPA, Fla. — A new Netflix show is looking to test whether age really is just a number when it comes to love — and one Tampa man is taking part in the social experiment.
“Age of Attraction” is an “age-blind” reality dating show where 40 singles, ages 22-60, will search for love without knowing each other’s ages.Â
It follows the lead of the wildly popular “Love is Blind,” now in its 10th season, but rather than keeping the contestants’ looks a secret, it’s their ages that will remain a mystery until couples get far enough into the experiment.
Tampa insurance agent Justin Gettman will be one of the men vying for love on our TV screens. Netflix describes him as “chill,” “go-with-the- flow,” and “here for a good time and an even better story.”
“When he’s not curating the perfect fit, updating his playlist, or mentally booking his next getaway, he’s looking for someone who’s down to come along for the ride,” Justin’s bio reads.
Hosted by reality star-turned-podcaster Nick Viall and his wife, Natalie Joy, who have an 18-year age gap themselves, “Age of Attraction” premieres on Netflix on Wednesday, March 11.Â
