An 18-year-old Brevard County High School student was arrested in Orlando on March 6 after allegedly assaulting a woman and stealing a car, according to the Orange County Sheriff’s Office.According to the arrest report, a woman was panhandling in the median in front of a Circle K on North Goldenrod Road in Orlando when Jamarcus Giscombe, 18, allegedly picked her up and told her she was going to perform a sex act on him.When she said no, she said he began to hit her multiple times.She tried to exit the vehicle, then ran to the Wawa, completely nude, and asked for someone to call 911, deputies said.The victim described the vehicle’s steering wheel as having a pink, fuzzy cover.Before the sexual battery call, deputies received another report about a stolen and recovered car behind the Colonies Condos on North Goldenrod Road in Winter Park.A witness said, “All I heard was a big boom, so I peeked out my window and I seen somebody pulling off and they hit the white car, and they made a left. I said what’s going on. I didn’t know. And then he swerved off, and then I looked, and then I saw all these women and all these kids come out screaming he stole my car.”Deputies found the stolen car a little over a mile from the Nissan dealership where the sexual battery occurred.Investigators linked Giscombe to the stolen 2011 Blue Chevrolet Cruz and the sexual battery based on blood found inside the car and the distinctive pink, fuzzy steering wheel cover.When asked about the incident, Giscombe told investigators that he met the alleged victim while he was stopped at a red light and she was panhandling. Giscombe said she asked him if he wanted to engage in a sex act.Giscome is being charged with false imprisonment, sexual battery, and aggravated battery.He’s being held at the Orange County Jail with a $12,500 bond for false imprisonment, grand theft and aggravated battery. He is being held without bond for the sexual battery charges.
