It didn’t take long for A’Shawn Robinson to find his new destination and it turns out he will be headed to a division rival.

Robinson has agreed to sign a one-year deal worth $10 million with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers according to NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport. Robinson had been released by the Carolina Panthers earlier in the week as he was entering the final year of his deal where he was due to make $8.5 million.

Robinson was a key contributor for Carolina last season where he totaled 65 total tackles, three tackles for loss and 2.5 sacks across 17 games.

Originally drafted by the Detroit Lions in the second round of the 2016 NFL Draft, where he played his first four seasons, Robinson has also had stops with the Los Angeles Rams (three seasons), New York Giants (one season) as well as Carolina (two seasons).

Robinson will now join a front alongside Vita Vea and Calijah Kancey which hopes to continue it’s dominance in the run game which ranked fifth best in the NFL in 2025.
