Alexis Groenendijk was a major factor no matter where she played. She looked comfortable on the mound, not allowing a single earned run over five innings pitched. She has been nothing but reliable: she hasn’t tossed less than five strikeouts in five consecutive appearances. She was also big at the plate, going a perfect 1-for-1 with two RBI.
