A man was hospitalized after he was stabbed by a woman in southwest Miami-Dade early Thursday, authorities said.
The incident happened around 12:25 a.m. in the area of Southwest 119th Avenue and 151st Street, near the Hammocks.
Miami-Dade Sheriff’s Office officials said the man was stabbed in the back multiple times by a woman with an “edge weapon.”
The man was taken to HCA Florida Kendall Hospital in stable condition.
Officials haven’t said what led up to the incident or whether the woman was arrested or will face charges.
The identities of the man and woman haven’t been released.
The incident remains under investigation.
