Tampa Fire Rescue crews responded to a fire at the restaurant just after midnight, the agency posted to X. Firefighters quickly put out the blaze.
There were no injuries reported in the fire. The cause is under investigation by TFR.
“We’ll be closed temporarily while we handle repairs, but if everything goes according to plan, we hope to reopen in the next few weeks,” the owners wrote. “We look forward to seeing everyone again soon!”
The family-owned and operated eatery, located at 4103 W. Kennedy Blvd., opened in 1970.
