Scouting the Mountaineers
Eighth-ranked and two-time Sun Belt Women’s Tennis Player of the Week Savannah Dada-Mascoll leads the Mountaineers with a 10-1 record at the No. 1 spot. She won both matches in Boone to extend her winning streak to 10. Her only singles loss came in the season opener against then-No. 23 Ange Oby Kajuru (now ranked No. 7). Since that loss, Dada-Mascoll has dropped only two sets, the most recent coming in the first set against UT Arlington.
Twelve matches into the season, freshmen Sreenidhi Balaji and Allegra Hodson are both over .500 in singles. Balaji is on a three-match winning streak and is undefeated at No. 6 with a 4-0 record. The freshman duo has won five straight in doubles, holding a 5-2 record.

The squad also welcomed newcomers Balaji and Hodson.

Lipscomb (6-5) is coming off a 13-7 season in 2025, which ended with a loss to Stetson in the second round of the ASUN Championship. The Bisons return seven players from last year’s squad and added one freshman and one transfer for 2026. Lipscomb enters the matchup following a 5-2 loss to No. 72 North Florida.
