As Universal Orlando’s newest theme park enters its second year, guests are continuing to discover all of the rides, experiences, and FOOD Epic Universe has to offer.
Look at those toppings
From quick service meals and themed feasts to decadent desserts and even some *exclusive* sodas, Epic has a unique offering for every theme park guest’s taste.
Butterbeer Crepes
Let’s begin with perhaps the most viral of Epic dishes: The Butterbeer Crepes. Officially known as the Bièraubeurre Crêpe, this crepe takes the iconic Wizarding World flavor features shortbread cookie butter, Bavarian cream, Bièraubeurre cream, strawberries, Bièraubeurre drizzle, and a shortbread cookie garnish. Fans of anything sweet — especially those who’ve enjoyed the other versions of Butterbeer over the years — need to head over to the Ministry of Magic portal’s Café L’air De La Sirène to give this one a try.
SO GOOD!
Celestial Steamed Bun
Containing a vegetable blend with bok choy, shiitake mushrooms, and vegetarian oyster sauce, these steamed buns make a portable and quick meal when strolling through the vast Celestial Park. They can be found at Star Sui Bao, located near Stardust Racers.

Pizza Lunare
Celestial Park’s Pizza Moon is one of the most unique restaurants in all of Universal Orlando, with its steampunk aesthetic bringing diners into a whimsical world (and making those of a certain age feel like they’re in a mid-’90s Smashing Pumpkins music video).
Pizza Moon
Of the multiple pizzas available on the menu, the Pizza Lunare stands out the most. It’s topped with roasted garlic béchamel, fromage de lune, ricotta, pancetta, garlic confit,… and did we mention the PURPLE celestial ube crust?!
Not your typical pizza.
Burning Cheddar Bites
Moving over to Dark Universe, the Burning Blade Tavern — themed to an iconic scene from Universal’s Frankenstein — offers a treat with some KICK. The Burning Cheddar Bites, crispy fried jalapeño pimento cheddar bites with sriracha ranch, are certainly recommended for those who can handle the heat.

PB&J Mac And Cheese Cone
Perhaps behind only the aforementioned Butterbeer Crepes, the best-known food items at Epic have been the Mac & Cheese Cones available at Hooligan’s Grog & Gruel on the Isle of Berk. While all three flavors have hit with many fans, I’ll personally break the tie and name the PB&J — Pork, Bacon, and Jam as the best of the three.
Snack menu
When I first saw this mixture of creamy mac & cheese with bbq harissa pulled pork, peanut bacon jam, and parsley served in a crunchy cone, I thought it would be too much. I have daydreamed about it pretty much every day since.

Berserkers Meatballs
Reaming in the Isle of Berk, let’s move over to the massive Mead Hall and their Berserker’s Meatballs. These Swedish meatballs come covered in onion gravy, lingonberry jam, and smashed root vegetables, making a delightful meal. Of course, there are options for those who aren’t in the mood for beef.

Gobber the Belch’s Turkey Wings
These roasted turkey wings come with herb garlic potatoes, roasted carrots, Cipollini onions, and wild berry bbq sauce are another incredible option.

DK Crush Float
No matter which entree you indulge in, arguably the park’s best dessert option resides in Super Nintendo World’s Donkey Kong Country. The DK Crush Float — available at The Bubbly Barrel. This banana pineapple soft serve float features pineapple soda, a waffle bowl, sprinkles, toffee pieces, and caramel popcorn, all combining into a decadent treat that is perfect on a warm day. It’s even available in a souvenir Donkey Kong mug!

BONUS: The Epic Exclusive Coca-Cola Flavors
Need to wash down all that food? Three of the park’s portals feature exclusive Coca-Cola variants only available in those specific lands:
Celestial Spritz: According to Universal, this flavor – located as the name would imply in Celestial Park- is a blend of Seagram’s, along with cherry and orange flavors, and a secret “added tartness” mixed in.
Screaming Bury: Located in Dark Universe, Screaming Berry blends Fanta Cherry and Fanta Fruit Punch with added grape and vanilla notes.
Dragon Splash: This Isle of Berk specialty is a “zesty, citrus-forward mix” made with Minute Maid Lime, Fanta Lime, and Mello Yello.
Special Celestial Spritz drinks
Each of these flavors is available in the Coca-Cola Freestyle machines located in its respective home portals, and trying each will probably make the Universal refillable mug worth it.
