By the time this post goes up, the NFL’s free agency period will be well underway, with most of the biggest names already re-signed by their own team or signed with a new team. As with every year’s free agency period, some of those signings will turn out to be genius, and some will make the general manager of that team look just plain foolish. Sometimes a signing can also be good, as in the player is a good if not great player and continues to be so, but also foolish, as the amount of money thrown at a guy is just far too much to justify, given their overall production does not equal the top of the heap player that their salary suggests. So tonight’s Phinsider Question Of The Day is:

Given the flurry of free agent signings around the NFL thus far, which NFL team do you think made the best overall free agent signing, and which made the worst signing? This can be based on who the player actually is, based on their production, or it can be based on the contract that they received, which can be perceived as either a bargain for the level of talent or a huge mistake based on the player being unlikely to ever produce at the level that would justify their new massive payday.
