The Jacksonville Police Department has arrested a 26-year-old Jacksonville man on charges of sexual exploitation of a minor.
On Thursday, October 23, officers with the JPD arrested Angel Alejandro Gutierrez Cardenas on the following charges:
(3) counts of Second-Degree Sexual Exploitation of a Minor(2) counts of Third-Degree Sexual Exploitation of a Minor
According to warrants, the offenses occurred on May 25, 2025. Additionally, they show that Cardenas has another pending case where he was arrested in July and charged with Third-Degree Sexual Exploitation of a Minor.
Cardenas is currently in custody at the Onslow County Jail without bond and has a court date set for Friday, October 24, at the Onslow County Courthouse.
