TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WCTV) – There are dozens of adoptable dogs hoping to get lucky with a new fur-ever family just in time for St. Patty’s Day!
WCTV and the Tallahassee Animal Service Center team up each week to shine a spotlight on four adoptable dogs in hopes of helping them find their fur-ever homes, faster!
Here are the dogs we are featuring this week:
MEET BANJOBanjo will sit for treats but doesn’t sit for long, he’s ready to run when you are!(WCTV)
Meet Banjo!
It’s not often you’ll find an Akita at the shelter, but this handsome handful is here and ready for a fresh start!
Apparently, he was too much of a handful for his previous owner, so he is looking for a family that appreciates his puppy-like energy and playful spirit!
He is into chasing squirrels, playing ball, and a good game of tug of war!
Banjo will sit for treats but doesn’t sit for long, he’s ready to run when you are!
Please visit Banjo at the shelter this weekend!
MEET DALEDale used to be tethered outside day and night so she’s excited to find a family who will make her part of the family!(WCTV)
Meet Dale!
This gregarious, tail-wagging girl is ready to explore a whole new world!
She used to be tethered outside day and night so she’s excited to find a family who will make her part of the family and embrace her with hugs, kisses and scratches!
Dale can be shy around new people and hasn’t really been on many car rides or adventures, but she is ready to start!
Dale is looking for a family that’s patient and kind who will help her to come out of her shell and shine!
Please visit Dale at the shelter this weekend!
MEET KAIKai loves rubber balls, prefers sleeping under the bed, and has a taste for Pedigree dog food!(WCTV)
Meet Kai!
This luxurious looking retriever will mesmerize you with her shiny coat and sparkling eyes – one blue one and one brown one!
Kai is a flat coated retriever who wound up at the shelter when her family moved.
She is playful and friendly. She loves rubber balls, prefers sleeping under the bed, and has a taste for Pedigree dog food!
Kai is looking for an active affectionate family who will be her fur-ever family.
Please visit Kai at the shelter this weekend!
MEET SNOW
Snow is into bird watching, squirrel gazing and joining you on your next outdoor adventure!(WCTV)
Meet Snow!
Snow came into the shelter just ahead of Tallahassee’s big snowstorm last year.
He’s been in foster care for awhile but is back at the shelter in hopes that someone will spot him and find him irresistible!
Snow would love to have a family of his own with lots of squeaky toys and a human who likes to play fetch! A few squirrels to chase would also be nice.
His other favorite activity is lounging on the couch right next to you and binge watching his favorite channel – Bird TV.
Snow has been waiting a very long time for his fur-ever family, perhaps they’re watching Furry Friday right now!
Please visit Snow at the shelter this weekend!
