Onslow County, NC — A 27-year-old Hubert man is facing multiple charges following an arrest by the Jacksonville Police Department.
Howard Sanseverino was arrested on Thursday, March 12. He is charged with felony possession of methamphetamine, felony maintaining a vehicle for a controlled substance, misdemeanor possession of drug paraphernalia and misdemeanor resisting a public officer.
According to arrest records, officers found Sanseverino in possession of methamphetamine. Records state he intentionally maintained the front passenger area of a vehicle for the use of controlled substances.
Officers located several items of drug paraphernalia, including straws with residue, plastic caps, wire mesh, aluminum foil, a glass container and a shoebox allegedly used to store or conceal controlled substances.
Sanseverino is said to have provided a false name and date of birth while officers were investigating a wanted subject connected to the vehicle.
Court records show Sanseverino has prior drug convictions and a history of failing to appear for scheduled court dates.
