The iconic Jurassic Park archway now marks the entrance to a rumored walkthrough experience coming to Universal Fan Fest Nights. As we previously reported, several life-size Jurassic Park / Jurassic World props were staged in a backstage area visible to guests. Most of the props were from the former Jurassic Park experience on the World-Famous Studio Tour.

Even more props, crates, and now the Jurassic Park archway are now in the thoroughfare. The arrangement suggests guests would walk through the archway and between the props to the other end of the road.
In addition to the T. rex, Spinosaurus, and InGen truck, there is now a green camouflage car, palm trees, rock features, and possibly more dinosaurs covered by tarps.
Universal has added green mesh over the missing back of the Spinosaurus. More props may be moved into the area to hide the fact that it’s just half a dinosaur.
The T. rex is right at the entrance, ready to meet guests. The statue appears to be the same one that was displayed at CityWalk in 2018 for the release of Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom.
Scaffolding towers placed periodically among the props would likely hold lights and possibly speakers.
Universal has not announced Jurassic Park / Jurassic World as one of this year’s featured fandoms for Universal Fan Fest Nights but that doesn’t mean it won’t have a presence. Last year, for example, The Wizarding World of Harry Potter had unannounced special event entertainment in the form of wandering Fantastic Beasts puppeteers.
A Universal casting call posted early this year was seeking dinosaur puppeteers and actors to play face characters for John Hammond, Ian Malcolm, and Dennis Nedry. These performers could be part of the mystery walkthrough experience.
This year marks the 25th anniversary of Jurassic Park III.
