Weather Impact Alert: Widespread rain, thunderstorms to move across the First Coast Monday

Expect lines of showers and thunderstorms, with more than an inch of rain.

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. — The First Coast News Weather Team is issuing a Weather Impact Alert for Monday due to a line of showers and thunderstorms moving our way with a cold front.

This will be heavy, widespread rain that will likely impact the morning commute, and we cannot rule out a few strong thunderstorms. Rain amounts will exceed more than an inch of rain.

The front will quickly exit our area, with improving conditions on Monday afternoon.

WHEN: Monday, Oct. 27, 2025 from 3 a.m. – 11 a.m.

IMPACTS: Heavy rain, street flooding, lightning and damaging wind gusts.
