TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WCTV) – Starting Friday at 9 a.m., a part of Rhea Road in Tallahassee is closing for over a week, according to Leon County.
Rhea Road is set to be closed between Thomasville Road and Lawton Chiles Lane for milling and repaving, per Leon County officials.
They are also installing a right-turn lane to allow Rhea Road traffic to turn onto Thomasville Road.

During the closure, traffic is being detoured onto Kinhega Drive and Timberwolf Crossing, depending on the driver’s direction.
The road is expected to reopen Monday, March 23 at 7 p.m.
