JACKSONVILLE, Fla. — A man diagnosed with dementia was reported missing and later found Friday afternoon nearly a day after he was last seen, according to the Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office (JSO).
JSO officials said they were told he’s diagnosed with dementia, suffers from hearing loss and faces other health issues. JSO officials said they were concerned for his well-being and safety. He was found around 2:19 p.m. Friday after they reported him missing an hour earlier.
