Gables-Opoly: Coral Gables launches own board gameGables-Opoly reimagines classic gameplay with distinctly Coral Gables references.

Coral Gables now has its own board game. The limited-edition Gables-Opoly, now available, made its public debut on Mar. 6 during Giralda LIVE on Giralda Plaza. The event featured a larger-than-life activation inspired by the board, inviting attendees to step into the game experience.

Gables-Opoly reimagines classic gameplay with distinctly Coral Gables references, including replacing the traditional “Jail” space with a commission meeting and swapping the railroads for the iconic trolley.

Presented by the City of Coral Gables in partnership with the Mark A. Trowbridge Chamber Foundation, and created in collaboration with Bliss Imprints & Gifts, Gables-Opoly is a citywide fundraising initiative designed to highlight the landmarks, businesses, and character that define Coral Gables. The board features over 40 local events, departments, and community organizations, and more than 30 local businesses that supported the game’s production.

Proceeds from the game benefit the Mark A. Trowbridge Chamber Foundation and its work supporting local business and workforce development programs across the community. The initiative is expected to generate more than $150,000 in long-term support.

“Gables-Opoly was created to capture the spirit and small details that define Coral Gables and shape its unique identity,” said Eddy Martinez, co-owner of Bliss Imprints & Gifts and creator of Gables-Opoly. “It’s a fun way to celebrate the city while supporting the foundation’s ongoing work in our community.”

The game retails for $29.95 and currently is available at select local retailers and online.
