Sheriff to speak to Dunedin Newcomers Club
DUNEDIN — Pinellas Sheriff Bob Gualtieri will be the featured speaker at the Dunedin Newcomers Club monthly luncheon on Thursday, Nov. 13. Potential topics may include what’s happening in public safety, challenges on the horizon and member concerns about the Pinellas Trail.
The club meets at 11 a.m. at the Highland House at the Dunedin Golf Club. Reservations are required.
The club also is making a Dec. 18 field trip to the Pinellas County Solid Waste Disposal Complex to learn the ins and outs of garbage and debris pickup, including lessons learned after Hurricanes Helene and Milton. Again, reservations are required.
The Dunedin Newcomers Club is a social network that welcomes women who are new to the area, newly retired or who now have the time to explore the region.
