A new Aldi grocery store is opening in Vero Beach which means residents have an opportunity to get free goodies at the grand opening.
The Aldi grocery store was previously a Winn-Dixie. This is the first Aldi grocery store in Vero Beach and Indian River County.
Here’s what to know about the Vero Beach Aldi grand opening and how to get free stuff.
When is the Aldi grocery store grand opening in Vero Beach?
The grand opening ribbon cutting is at 8:30 a.m. March 19. The ceremony will be about 30 minutes before the store opens. Customers will be able to shop immediately following the ceremony.

Customers can get a sneak peek and fully shop the store March 18, according to the company’s website.
Where is the Vero Beach Aldi?Free stuff at Aldi grand opening in Vero Beach
The first 200 people in line will receive a gift bag of Aldi-exclusive products and a gift card for $10, $25 or $100 as part of Aldi’s Golden Ticket program.
All shoppers can get a free Aldi shopping tote, while supplies last. Look for an Aldi employee and ask.
