Fourth-seeded Vanderbilt reaches the semis by virtue of a 75-68 win over the Tennessee Volunteers on Friday. Duke Miles led the charge for the Commodores, scoring a new season high with 30 points, while the defense held the Vols below 40% from the field.

When the Gators beat the ‘Dores in Nashville earlier this year, the backcourt was still figuring things out. This Florida team, despite the rust it showed from the perimeter on Friday afternoon, is a much better squad than that one while Vandy has regressed a bit from its hot start.
