TAMPA, Fla. (WWSB) – Tampa Fire Rescue responded to a multi-vessel fire Friday evening at the marina of Tampa Yacht & Country Club.
Fire crews were dispatched around 7:30 p.m. March 13, where firefighters arrived to find heavy smoke in the dock area and one vessel fully engulfed in flames.
Tampa Fire Rescue said flames were pushing from the interior cabin of the vessel of origin and due to the intensity of the fire, it quickly extended to a nearby boat.
Both vessels were confirmed to be unmanned at the time of the fire.
