The Miami Heat will have guards Tyler Herro and Norman Powell both available for Saturday’s night’s critical matchup against the Orlando Magic at Kaseya Center.

Herro, who has missed the last two games with left quad soreness, has been upgraded to available.

Powell, who has missed the last seven games with a right groin strain, has also been upgraded to available.

Saturday will mark only the 12th game through the Heat’s first 68 games this season that Herro and Powell have played together this season due to injury issues.

Powell, who was the Heat’s lone All-Star this season, is averaging a team-high 22.5 points per game in 49 appearances this season.

Herro is averaging the second-most points on the team this season at 22.1 per game. He was named the Eastern Conference Player of the Week on Monday for his play last week.

Since the NBA All-Star break, Heat coach Erik Spoelstra has staggered Herro and Powell’s minutes before they were sidelined. Herro and Powell played only 15 minutes together in the Heat’s first four games following the break before Powell hurt his groin.

With Herro and Powell back from their injuries, it remains to be seen if Spoelstra will continue to stagger their minutes or play them together for more extended stretches.

While Herro and Powell will make their returns, the Heat remains without Nikola Jovic (low back injury management), Terry Rozier (not with team) and Andrew Wiggins (left big toe sesamoiditis) on Saturday.

The Magic have ruled out Anthony Black (abdominal strain), Colin Castleton (G League), Jonathan Isaac (left knee sprain), Alex Morales (G League) and Franz Wagner (left ankle sprain injury management) for Saturday’s game in Miami.

The sixth-place Heat (38-29) enters one game behind the fifth-place Magic (37-28) in the loss column. The Magic has already won the first four matchups between the two teams this regular season, with Saturday marking their fifth and final meeting of the regular season.

The Magic enters Saturday on a six-game winning streak. The Heat enters on a season-best seven-game winning streak.
