Surveillance video from a T-Mobile store in Doral captured the moments when a man allegedly snatched a phone from an employee and ran away.
Lisa Almeida, 47, was charged with robbery by sudden snatching and third-degree grand theft, while Everett Laurennickles, 32, is facing several charges, including strong-armed robbery, third-degree robbery and fleeing and eluding police.
According to Doral Police, Almeida and Laurennickles were working together, with Almeida acting as an accomplice, when they entered the T-Mobile on Thursday.
In the surveillance video, the two of them were seen entering the store, and Almeida was at the counter, while Laurennickles approached an employee and started talking to them.
Moments later, Laurennickles was seen snatching the phone from the employee and then running out of the store.
During their investigation, officers were able to find the two, and they were taken into custody.
