The Brito Panthers will venture away from home to face off against the Hialeah Educational Academy Biggie at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Brito is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they’ve averaged 7.4 runs per game this season.
Having struggled with three losses in a row, Brito turned things around against Miami Beach on Tuesday. They came out on top against the Hi-Tides by a score of 7-4.
SebaSthyan Montilla tossed a big game, tossing five innings while giving up just one earned (and one unearned) run off one hit. The dominant performance also gave him a new career-high in strikeouts (three).

On the hitting side, the team relied heavily on Raivon Pinder, who went 1-for-4 with two stolen bases, two runs, and two RBI. He is becoming a predictor of Brito’s success: when he posts at least two runs the team is undefeated (and 1-8 when he doesn’t).
Hialeah Educational Academy came out on top against Goleman on Thursday thanks in part to the team’s impressive six-run sixth inning. The Biggie took their matchup against the Gators 6-3.
Deyvis Vazquez looked comfortable as he pitched two innings while giving up no earned runs off two hits.
At the plate, Isaac Centeno was incredible, going a perfect 2-for-2 with two stolen bases, two RBI, and one run. Those RBI marked the first that he has brought in this season. The team also got some help courtesy of Joshua Ortiz, who went a perfect 3-for-3 with two stolen bases and one RBI.
Hialeah Educational Academy always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .517. That’s the best OBP they’ve posted all season.
Hialeah Educational Academy’s first win this season bumped their record up to 1-12. As for Brito, their record now sits at 6-8.
Hialeah Educational Academy’s pitching crew has a crucial task ahead of them: Brito has hit smart this season, having averaged an OBP of .452. It’s a different story for Hialeah Educational Academy, though, as they’ve only averaged .350. Will they be able to contain Brito’s hitters?
Brito couldn’t quite get it done against Hialeah Educational Academy when the teams last played back in April of 2025 as they fell 7-3. Can the Panthers avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We’ll find out soon enough.
