Zoo Miami will reopen on Monday with “enhanced security measures” after another bomb threat was reported, officials said.
On Friday and Saturday, the zoo received bomb threats that were believed to be swatting calls, authorities said.
Zoo Miami released the following statement on X:
“Zoo Miami received another bomb threat today and temporarily closed while deputies from the Sheriff’s Office including K-9 units already on site conducted a sweep. The park was quickly given the all clear. We will reopen to the public on Monday with enhanced security measures.”
